I think that it is very important for people, especially for businessmen, to know Russian language. More then 230 million people in the world speak Russian (about 145 million live in Russian Federation, others, who speak Russian as a native language, come from former Socialist Republics — Ukraine, Belorussia, etc). Russian Federation is the biggest country in the world and one of the richest. The territory of the country is huge, that's why businessmen of all over the world are doing their business in Russia. Unfortunately not very many people in Russia know other languages then their native, that's why it is very important for the foreigners to know our language.
